Meadow Springs, feel the Serenity.
No matter how bad your golf is Meadow Springs is always a great golf course to play. You can see why the WA Open has been played at this course 7 times. Each hole is perfectly suited for TV, with water along many holes, lush green grass, rolling hills and clean white bunkers. Being surrounded by 200 year old Tuart trees with hardly no fairways being side by side it truly feels like you are in the wilderness, feel the serenity. Scott Proctor is the General Manager who is a very gracious host. I would recommend taking a cart when you play as I feel golf is definitely for pleasure rather than exercise. Many people do walk the course but as most “resort courses” it can be a bit tough up some of the hills. The landing spots for your drive are quite wide so don’t be scared to pull out driver. The scrub can be dangerous on some holes but most of us only lost 1 ball each which is good for our ability. The course is great for all players. If you dont hit it long that is ok as there is always a way to go around, and there is no long grass in front of the Tee Boxes so your ball will run. I advise to use a soft ball as the greens are quick and you need to be able to feel the ball when chipping and putting, rather than a ball that feels like a rock and continues to roll of the green.
